Once again the private coaching centres have showed reluctance to give preference to the career of students. Though their registration have already got expired, but none among them have stopped functioning or informed the students about the development so that they could have taken the decision as per their will. However, it is unfortunate that the hefty amount has been charged from the students by these coaching centres to run their affairs, which is against the norms set by the government. It has been reported that the validity of registration of private coaching and tuition centres has already expired and the DSEK has issued an advisory for information of the general public in November 2017 followed by a series of advisories to the general public not to enroll their wards in un-registered coaching or tuition centres. Although the government has not come up with a proper action against the unregistered coaching centres, but the teachers working in the institutes should at least ensure that the career of students as well as the fee paid by their parents are not wasted. The unregistered coaching centres here in the Valley are pushing the students to the wall and jeopardizing their career as well. The government in this regard should come up with a stringent policy to ensure that no unregistered coaching centers are allowed to function here.
