Srinagar, Oct 30: Apni Party on Saturday organised a provincial level youth meeting at its Central office in M2 Church Lane, Sonwar.
The meeting was presided by Apni Party Vice President and Chairman Party Disciplinary Committee Usman Majid, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir and District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh.
According to a statement, the meeting primarily focused on strengthening the youth cadres in Kashmir province besides addressing the woes of the youth especially due to the spiking unemployment rates.
“Our youth have enough potential to excel in all the fields as they have proven their mettle time and again. However, it remains the need of the hour that ample opportunities are provided to the youth so that energy is positively channelized,” Majid said. During the meet Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir also addressed the youth wing while stressing on their pivotal role in the progress of a society.
“Apni Party is a youth-centric party that has always raised the pressing issues of the youth and will continue to address their grievances in the impending future,” Mir observed.
Mir added that Apni Party youth wing should ramp up its activities across Kashmir division so that more youth get apprised and acclimatized with the Party agenda.
“We need to reach out to the youth as most of them feel dejected and hopeless due to the prevailing situation where their issues are hardly listened to. Apni Party Youth Wing must actively work for the welfare of our youth and create an atmosphere conducive for the requisite development and progress,” Mir said.
The Youth Wing office bearers thanked the party leadership for organizing the meeting and avowed to further strengthen the Party cadres at grassroots level.
