Srinagar, Nov 8: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament Dr. Farooq Abdullah today felicitated volunteers of Bharat Scouts and guides who had called on him at his residence on the Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts and guides.
Among others Party Provincial President Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya Qadri & Additional Spokesperson Ifra Jan were also present. The event was organised by Vijay Kaul, District President, Minority Cell Budgam. On the occasion Founder Director Knovatic Foundation Shahim Nisar and Reitesh Koul were also present.
Interacting with the young volunteers of Dr Farooq maintained that complete harmony among the individuals of the community in religious, social, economic and political terms is a pivotal part of NC’s ideological and political goals. “We have been fighting for creating a culture where people respect each other, where justice, equality, and fraternity inculcate in its real sense and individual rights are not restricted,” he added.
On the occasion, the visiting volunteers pledged to fight against drug abuse menace. The Party President passed on good wishes to the volunteers and hoped that their initiatives foster effective and sustainable changes in the youth to take on the contemporary global and regional challenges.
The whole event was organized by a National level foundation, Knovatic Help Foundation.
