Poonch, Jan 7: Authorities on Friday exhumed the body of a young man after 45 days of his death with family alleging that their son was murdered in Panipat.
The deceased namely Muhammad Faizan Sharif son of Muhammad Sharif resident of Arai village of Poonch Mandi had died in Panipat area of Haryana one-and-half month ago after which his body was brought to his native village Arai where last rites were offered and body buried in grave.
The family members of deceased, however, are levelling serious allegations against some relatives and other men of the area who were accompanying the deceased to Panipat.
Family members said that their son is a victim of a well hatched conspiracy. They approached police on this matter after which an order for exhumation of the body was issued by DM Poonch.
“We followed order of DM and body has been exhumed with a team of doctors conducting post mortem,” said Executive Magistrate who was present on the occasion. (KNO)
