Handwara, Jan 14: A minor was among three persons injured by a “rabid” dog in Audoora Mawer Qalamabad area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports said that three persons identified as Mehfooza Begum, 27, of Warpora, Owais Mohammad (10) son of Mohammad Yousf Bhat and Abdul Rehman Malik (52) resident of Audoora Mawer were evacuated to NTPHC Qalamabad after bitten by the dog. Malik and Owais were later shifted to SDH Langate for further treatment.
A medical official at NTPHC Qalamabad said that three persons with dog bite injuries were received at the health facility and they are all stable.
Meanwhile locals appealed administration to intervene into the matter. (GNS)
