DC Rajouri reviews implementation of Ayushman Bharat SEHAT- scheme

Asks for holding special camps to register left out beneficiaries

Rajouri, Jan 22: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Saturday reviewed the implementation of Ayushmaan Bharat Sehat scheme in the district here at meeting.
The meeting was attended by Pawan Kumar Parihar, Additional District Development Commissioner(Nodal Officer); Sachin Dev Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner; Bilal Rashid Mir, DSEO Rajouri; Medical Superintendent Government Medical College Associated Hospital Rajouri Dr. Mehmood Bajar; Arif Lone, AD FCS&CA, representatives of Health Department besides others.
The DSEO informed the meeting that 404114 beneficiaries equivalent to 63.57% percent of targeted Population have been registered under the Sehat scheme in the district so far, which is highest in the union territory. He also apprised that 86.45 % of families of District have been registered with at least one Member under SEHAT Scheme.
Medical Superintendent, Associate Hospital Government Medical College Dr. Mehmood Bajar apprised the chair that Inventory management software is being developed and shall be made functional soon, which will ensure the Patient management , Purchasing management, Receiving stock management (drugs, consumables, implants etc), Payment management and Supplier management. He also informed that the software will ensure effective implementation and will maintain transparency of the scheme (AB-PMJAY).
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned stakeholders to achieve the targets at the earliest so that all the families are registered under the scheme and take benefits of the health scheme providing for treatment in the empannelled Hospitals.
He asked the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department to provide the data of all the families which are yet to be registered on this portal, so that special camps may be scheduled to clear the Pendency.
He further asked to provide additional IDs with specific provision and features to the VLEs to cover all the beneficiaries in the district within the stipulated time frame.
The Deputy Commissioner also emphasized on the settling of claims uploaded under SEHAT and issued directions to Health authorities to provide early treatment to the public. He stressed upon the completion of exercise within the shortest possible time in the interest of patient care. He asked the concerned stakeholders to organise special camps, with the help of PRIs, in the rural areas to achieve maximum coverage.
