Baramulla, Feb 17: The security forces in a joint operation on Thursday recovered 11 hand grenades and 11 UBGL grenades and a crude grenade in Zandfaran village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, official sources said.
Official sources said that upon receiving specific inputs, a joint operation was launched by Baramulla Police, Army 46 RR, 2nd Bn SSB in village Zandfaran Sheeri.
During the operation, a hideout located in a nallah was busted and 11 hand grenades and 11 UBGL grenades and one crude grenade were recovered in the area, they said.
“A case has been registered under relevant sections of laws and further investigation has been taken up,” they added.
