Kulgam, Feb 26: Following re-opening of schools for off line/physical classes after a long gap, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday visited several schools in the district and took stock of arrangements and preparation of school authorities for starting offline classes.
He visited Government Higher Secondary School Chawalgam, Katrasoo, Bugam and several other schools in the district.
During the visit, the DC took stock of availability of drinking water, power facilities and cleanliness besides sanitization etc.
He instructed the school authorities to intensify cleanliness drives in and around the schools.
He also stressed to maintain social distancing in all classrooms as per the issued guidelines and to ensure adherence to all covid related guidelines and SOPs in all schools.
Accompanying the DC were ACR, CEO and other officers.
