Aubaid Ahmed Akhoon

Shah Faisal, a boy hailing from the Valley of Kashmir – the land known as the paradise on the earth . To be precise, he was born and raised at Chandhara Pampore, the village of the famous Sufi poetess, Habba Khatoon. Shah has dedicated his body, mind and soul to the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. He is a thorough gentleman. He is a compound of age old Kashmiri traditions and emerging modernity. He swamps with pen and page consistently. He is a paragon for the youth of today. He is doing Bio-medical Engineering from Govt College of Engineering and Technology Kashmir. In the same breath, it must be revealed that he commutes five times a day from his home to the home of Allah. He leads a righteous life and leaves no stone unturned to make the people of his age follow suit. For the selfsame reason, he preserves his magnificent wisdom in the form of quotes and articles. It doesn’t take any sighted seer more than a look to dote upon this rising star.
The two books of Shah Faisal out already in the market are (I) 400 Quotes (II) Splendid Kashmir . The first one , as its title suggests, is a book of quotes thoroughly penned down by Shah himself. The second one is an anthology of poems, articles and he has contributed a couple of chapters to it- an article titled RED GOLD OF KASHMIR “THE SAFFRON ” and an Urdu poem ” YEHI HAIN KASHMIR ” . His write-ups will go very close to touch the very strings of the hearts of youngsters. They will identify themselves with the feelings , thoughts and themes of his books. They cover angle of themes including peer pressure, passions of teens, spiritual romance, pangs of ambition, teen mistakes and their redressals, career-care, education, youth-dreams and sacrifices that today’s youth have to make while they are afoot on the bustling roads leading to their cherished destinations. His quotes illustrate of how to fight with one’s own baser desires and how to overcome them. They are written in easy and comprehensive language. His books have been published by Renascence publishers in the year 2021 .
The young writer has been schooled at Muslim Educational Institute Pampore. He has received tuitions at Target PMT for a considerable time. His aim in life is to become a great and sincere engineer and he wants to continue the passion of writing books also.
“According to poet, he is one of the favourite disciples of the famous literature knowing personality of Pampore area (popularly known as) Sahil Sharif Din English and I has been duly guided, mentored and inspired by a well-educated and well-known personality of the Valley, Aubaid Ahmad Akhoon Sahab. These duo are my gurus, guides, mentors, friends and the primary readers and first editors of my scripts. Currently I’m working on a couple of books meant to be published in near future”.
His philosophy of life is very simple. He doesn’t look here and there. He walks straight on the easy and peaceful path of existence. The modern distractions and temptations seem too weak to deviate him. He conveys the same through his quotes. In fact, his quotes are he himself personified. To sum up, every parent of 21st century would love to have a son like him. His quotes are worth anyone’s notice.
George R. R Martin has rightly said “I have lived a thousand lives and I have loved a thousand loves. I’ve walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time. Because I read.”
The writer needs best wishes and special prayers for the amazing journey he has set out on.
