SED repatriates all Cluster, Zonal, district resource persons to original places of posting

Srinagar, Apr 4: The School Education Department has repatriated all Cluster, Zonal and District Resources persons to their original places of posting forthwith.
The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), in an order issued on Monday said, “In order to streamline the institution of District Resource Persons (DRPs), Zonal Resource Persons (ZRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) strictly as per National Education Policy 2020, it was decided to reconstitute school complexes and clusters with new set of resource persons from the pool of well qualified and competent teachers.”
“Keeping in view the above, the entire contingent of DRPs, ZRPs and CRPs (both new & old) presently working in different districts is hereby repatriated to their original places of posting forthwith. The nomination of new DRPs/ZRPs/CRPs shall be made shortly in consultation with JKSCERT,” it reads.
The order reads that with the inception of erstwhile Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) in Jammu and Kashmir, District Resource Groups comprising of District Resource Persons (DRPs), Zonal Resource Groups comprising of Zonal Resource Persons (ZRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) were constituted for every district, zone and cluster respectively.
It states that these DRPs, ZRPs and CRPs were nominated from within the existing resourceful teaching staff from different schools of the district
“The sole objective of their nomination was to provide academic support and to help in effective implementation of SSA in their respective zones,” it reads.
