Sopore, Apr 22: The body of a 21-year-old youth was found under mysterious circumstances in an orchard at New Colony area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
An official said that the locals spotted the body in an orchard at New Colony and informed the police accordingly.
He said that the body was recovered from the spot and taken to the hospital for examination.
The official identified the deceased as Umar Shoosha, son of Farooq Ahmad Shoosha of New Colony.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been initiated in this regard, the official said. (KNO)
