Govt will resolve all service related issues of KP employees within a week: Div Com

Srinagar, May 13: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Police Friday said that the government will resolve all issues related to transfers, postings and security of Kashmiri Pandits within a week’s time while as compensation to the slain Rahul Bhat’s family will be provided as per the set rules.
He also said that the mass protests held across Kashmir signify that Kashmir as a collective society innocent killings have been strongly condemned. Talking to reporters on the side-lines of a candle-light protest at clock-tower Lal Chowk, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir said that the administration strongly condemns the innocent killings by all means. “Be it a policeman, minority community members or a civilian killing, such killings need to be strongly condemned,” he said.
Replying to a query about issues raised by protesting Kashmiri Pandits, the Divisional Commissioner said that government is aware of the issues confronting the minority community members working in government departments. “We will resolve the issues like transfers and postings besides other issues related to service, within a week’s time,” Pole said.
He said apart from that the administration will also ensure safe and security accommodation of KP’s and streamline their postings as well. “I assure them that there will be no complaint from their side,” Pole added.
