Anantnag, May 19: The Conservator of Forests (CoF) south Kashmir, Irfan Ali Shah along with DFO, Anantnag Forest Division today conducted a surprise inspection of various Forest offices in Anantnag to check the attendance of the staff and delivery of services to the general public.
The Conservator Forests inspected Range Office Kuthar Forest Range (KFR), Achabal to check working in the Range Office and delivery of public services. He also inspected seizure depot Kuthar and checked records of the depot.
He also inspected Forest Check Post Achabal where CCTVs have been installed for enhanced surveillance. On the spot directions were given to DFO Anantnag for upgradation of this vital check post.
The Conservator of Forests interacted with the Officials of Range Office Kuthar and instructions were given to the staff to remain available for the public and resolve their problems and ensure quality disposal of public grievances expeditiously without delay.
He also stressed that no laxity would be allowed in maintenance of proper discipline, punctuality in Government Offices of the Forest Department in South Kashmir. He further directed DFOs to conduct surprise inspection of all subordinate offices regularly so as to ensure presence of all employees as well as resolution of public grievances.
