Advisor Bhatnagar visits Gurez

Interacts with DDC, BDC members, PRI representatives

Gurez, Jun 10: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar Friday visited Gurez subdivision and interacted with DDC members and PRIs representatives including BDCs, Sarpanchs and Panchs at Dawar here.
During the interaction with Advisor, the DDC members and PRI representatives raised various issues and demands with the Advisor like provision of electricity, ATM for Bagtore, better facilities in Education and Health sector, availability of gyneacologist and Dental Surgeons in Hospitals , Macadamization of pending roads in Gurez, construction of road to Ladakh via tulail, SBI branch for Gurez, Electrician trade for ITI, posting of staff and polytechnic College for Gurez besides various other issues.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC member Tulail Raja Ajaz appreciated the efforts of administration for promoting tourism in Gurez and providing 4G connectivity to Gurez.
During the visit, the Advisor also interacted with general public and patiently listened to their demands and concerns of public importance. He assured the public delegations of various areas of Gurez that all the genuine demands of the area will be fulfilled in a time bound manner.
Later, the Advisor chaired a meeting of officers of the sub-division and took stock of provision of services especially availability of essential commodities in the subdivision.
The Advisor sought details of vacancies and transfers in Sub Division Gurez and impressed upon concerned departments to work in tandem with Public representatives in order to ease out the hardships of the public.
The meeting was attended by DDC Member Gurez, DDC Member Tulail, SDM Gurez, Tehsildar Gurez/Tulail and other sectoral officers.
