Jammu, Aug 6: Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Pande Saturday visited the forward areas in Rajouri & Poonch and met with the Army troops deployed there.
Gen Pande was accompanied by GoC Northern Command, Lieutenant General Upendra along with other senior army commanders.
Army in an official statement said that COAS Gen Manoj Pande visited forward areas in Rajouri and Poonch.
He also met with troops deployed there and reviewed the operational preparedness on Line of Control.
“COAS also interacted with army troops deployed there and exhorted upon them to keep working with same zeal and enthusiasm,” Army said.
