Bandipora, Aug 18: A minor boy died in a road accident in Hajin Tehsil of North kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said here on Thursday.
A police official said that the boy identified as Haris Mushtaq (4) son of Mushtaq Ahmad of Hajin was hit by a speedy load carrier and left him critically injured.
He said that the injured was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
“After completing medico-legal formalities body was handed over to the family for last rites.”
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
