Srinagar, Aug 19: Young BJP leader and DDC member for Khonmoh Er Aijaz Hussain Friday participated in the two-day meeting of Haj committee of India (HCoI) at Mumbai where various issues related to Haj were discussed.
Er Aijaz said that during the meeting, road map for Haj-2023, reporting by incharges of embarkation points, welfare of employees, state chairman, and Executive officer meeting, HRC meet and other officers meet, HRC meet, and other welfare issues were discussed. He said the officers played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth Haj 2022.
The chairman HCoI A P Abdullah Kuttay sought feedback from all officers on making Haj 2023 more smooth with more facilities to be put in place for pilgrims. The HCoI Chairman further appreciated the role of officials and stated that steps should be taken in advance to ensure smooth Haj 2023.
He hailed the role of HCoI member Er Aijaz Hussain in facilitating the pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir and Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
