Srinagar, Aug 27: Young BJP leader and DDC member Er Aijaz Hussain today lashed out at the PAGD stating that the alliance was riding on a blind horse which is destined to fail as they lack vision.
In a statement, Er Aijaz, who is also the member of Haj Committee of India (HCoI), said that recent internal wrangling in National Conference’s provisional meet as clearly indicated that PAGD was destined to fall. A blind horse never reaches its destination so will PAGD. Er Aijaz said that with NC workers and leaders clearly supporting contesting elections on all 90 seats reflects that PAGD was about to break.
Er Aijaz said that many leaders associated with the so-called alliance left early and many will follow suit in the days ahead. He said that people of Kashmir are mature enough now politically, especially after revocation of article 370, and there was no room for befooling people on the pretext of hollow slogans like autonomy, self rule and jobs. Er Aijaz said that those associated with the PAGD had been claiming that storm will hit J&K if article 370 is revoked but the fact of the matter is that no storm broke out and instead J&K witnessed a major developmental boom which had never taken place in the past 70 years. Er Aijaz said under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendera Modi, J&K has achieved a feat on developmental front while as violence levels too have touched all time low despite efforts from various quarters including the neighbouring country and anti-peace elements.
Er Aijaz said that people of Kashmir have realised that those who ruled them over the past 70 years did nothing for people and instead filled their own coffers for their petty political interests. The Young BJP leader said that people across J&K have reposed their trust and faith in BJP leadership from Centre to J&K and time is not far when J&K will be the most peaceful region of not just India but the entire world. He said that family politics over the past seven decades ruined the future of J&K and had the political leaders who enjoyed the cozy rooms of the civil secretariat reached out to people on ground, the situation would have been altogether different in the Valley and rest of J&K. Er Aijaz said that PAGD is just a name and nobody in Kashmir have faith in it.
