The fraudsters have now taken a different route to hoodwink the people by using the profile of senior persons in the office to seek Amazon Gift Cards from their subordinates on WhatsApp. Most of the people are falling into the trap, but the police have once again made it clear to the people that no such official has been involved in such scams and there is a need to be more vigilant while using the social media platforms. Some of the press releases issued by the cyber police so far clearly indicate that the fraudsters are leaving no stone unturned to deceive the people by one way or the other. Therefore, any one facing such an issue or witnessing some annoying events on social media, must inform the experts about it so that the possible trap is stopped. Moreover, the cyber police also needs to create awareness among the masses in this regard so that they would be able to identify the wrong intentions well on time.
