Baramulla, Sep 7: With an aim to discuss action plan with regard to the smooth conduct of first ever army recruitment rally under the recently launched Agnipath scheme, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar Wednesday chaired a meeting here to take a holistic appraisal of arrangements put in place.
The meeting was attended by ADC Baramulla, Zahoor Ahmad Raina, SDM Pattan Syed Faheem among other concerned functionaries.
It is worth mentioning here that the army recruitment rally is the first ever recruitment rally under the centrally sponsored Agnipath scheme in which aspirants from entire Jammu and Kashmir UT as well as from Ladakh UT shall participate. The said rally is being conducted in the army headquarter at Hyderbeig Pattan from 17th of September to 01 of October 2022.
On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion was held during which the DC was apprised about all the arrangements that have been put in place with regard to the recruitment rally.
After taking a holistic review, the DC exhorted to ensure all the basic arrangements including medical, drinking water, lighting, Public Address System, mobile toilets among other necessities, are properly placed at the recruitment venue. She directed to formulate a viable action plan so that this major exercise is smoothly and successfully conducted.
Moreover, the DC directed upon the concerned authorities to work in coordination and cohesion and sort out issues, if any, well within the stipulated time frame.
Meanwhile, the meeting was informed that a Civil-Army coordination meeting was earlier convened wherein different means and measures were thoroughly discussed with regard to the smooth conduct of recruitment rally.
