Budgam, Sep 12: Police have taken up the investigation after a lawyer was found hanging from a tree in Aarath area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Locals shortly after spotting the middle-aged lawyer hanging from a tree informed police that rushed to the spot to examine the spot of the incidence.
The deceased has been identified as Tariq Gani Mir, a resident of Wadwan village of Budgam who was a lawyer by profession.
Police said that a team headed by SHO Police Station Budgam and Chowki officer Soibug along with the FSL team visited the spot and the place of occurrence was examined and the dead body was taken into custody for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
