Kupwara, Sep 13: A man in his 70s died after being hit by a speedy vehicle in Bramri area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
An official said that the Santro car bearing registration number JK01B 7043 hit him following which he was shifted to nearby hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
The official identified the deceased as Ghulam Mohammad Gojar, son of Saif-ud-Din Gojar a resident of Haihama. Meanwhile, a police official said that they have registered a case in this regard and the driver of the vehicle was arrested while the further investigation has been initiated. (KNO)
