Sopore, Sep 21: Three drug peddlers were arrested along with brown sugar in Batapora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday, police said here.
An official said that 3 more drug peddlers were arrested along with 30 grams of brown sugar in Batapora locality.
He identified them as Mushtaq Ahmad Gazi son of Ghulam Muhammad of Shahabad, Aijaz Ahmad Ganie son of Bashir Ahmad Ganie of Hathishah and Zubair Ahmad Lone son of Muhammad Rafi Lone—all residents of Sopore town.
He said that a case vide FIR number 246/2022 under section 8/21, 29 of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore and further investigation has been started. (KNO)
