Reviewing existing facilities in Edu Zones of Central Kashmir imperative: Authorities

Srinagar, Oct 03: Authorities on Monday said that in 25 educational zones of central Kashmir, the review of existing facilities available in these institutions has become imperative to know the factual position at ground zero.
Mohammad Rouf Rehman, Joint Director, Central Kashmir said, “In order to streamline the academic atmosphere and working conditions of all the educational institutions or schools of district Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal, the review of the facilities available in these educational Institutions has become imperative to know the factual position at ground zero.”
Rehman in a circular has requested the CEOs to activate their Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) of 25 Zones including 8 zones of district Srinagar, 13 zones of Budgam and four zones of district Ganderbal.
He said that the concerned officials shall pass on these instructions forthwith to all the educational institutions of their respective jurisdictions, asking them to be fully geared up, equipped and prepared with the specific information on each and every following point with figures, data and status as on date.
The joint director said, “In the backdrop of the facts and circumstances, CEOs are advised to activate their ZEOs and HoDs of all educational institutions, staff.”
“They shall infuse blood and flesh into the frame of education department and make it vibrant, prompt effective and make the presence of ZEOs felt in their respective areas of jurisdiction with all such corrective measures which need to be adopted to restore the pristine glory of the department which has always been a seat of revolution in the society, as a guarantor of peace, prosperity and development,” reads the circular.
