Er Aijaz presents Amit Shah paper machie carved Shikara

Srinagar, Oct 5: BJP leader and DDC member for Khonmoh Er Aijaz Hussain presented Paper machie carved sample of Shikara (Kashmir’s popular small boat) to Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Rajbhawan Srinagar.
As a token of love, Er Aijaz presented the beautifully paper machie carved Shikara sample to Home Minister. Shah expressed his gratitude to Er Aijaz for his gesture. Er Aijaz was also among 12 DDC members who presented memorandums on various developmental and issues related to public importance to Home Minister Shah. The Home Minister assured the DDC members that genuine issues pertaining to public importance will be given priority and he will direct the concerned quarters to address the issues raised in memorandums on priority basis and in fast track mode.
The Home Minister hailed DDC members for their commitment towards serving people of Srinagar stating that DDCs were backbone of government and governance and it was for the first time that the people of Srinagar were reaping the benefits of real democracy on ground. He urged the DDC members to keep up their good work for the benefit of common man.
DDC members from Srinagar were also present during the inauguration of scores of developmental projects E-inaugurated by the Home Minister for Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir. Meanwhile, DDC members presented a separate memorandum to Chief Secretary A K Mehta seeking removal of DDC chairman for Srinagar to which the Chief Secretary assured them that the matter will be sorted out shortly.
