Srinagar, Nov 1: Police in Ganderbal have arrested two notorious drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
A Police party of Police Station Lar at a checkpoint established at Tehsilbagh Khranihama arrested two notorious drug peddlers identified as Aqib Nazir Wani son of Nazir Ahmad Wani and Shamim Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi, both residents of Tullamulla Ganderbal. During search, 700 grams of Bhung Patri was recovered from their possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 64/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Lar and investigation has been initiated.
