Srinagar, Nov 2: Chairman Democratic Azad Party (DAP) Ghulam Nabi Azad Wednesday said his party will fight against all odds to ensure comprehensive development in J&K.
“The DAP will try its best and will clean all hurdles which comes in way of development of J&K”, Azad said in an exclusive interview in Srinagar.
He said the democracy gives right to every citizen of the country to set up his/her own political party. “I came up with DAP with an aim to make J&K peaceful, prosperous and developed. We will press every effort for the welfare of people and will not indulge in defaming opponents. We will do our job and let others do their job”, the DAP Chairman said.
He added that the development will be his first priority to uplift the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “Today the people of J&K have been sucked by inflation. If we have to save our people, we have to provide them 365 days work to overcome the circumstances”, he added.
Speaking on the current situation across J&K, the former CM of J&K said that in a democratic set up people should be given space to vent their feelings. (KNS)
