Bandipora, Nov 5: The residents of several villages of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district here have accused authorities for failing to provide them with basic facilities.
Inhabitants of several villages including CA Khan, Gundpora, Gamroo and other adjoining areas while expressing displeasure accused the department of ignoring their plights.
They said that they are not getting electricity as per the schedule despite paying their regular tariff bills.
The residents further said that the department seems more focused towards increasing the monthly tariff while the adequate electricity supply has gone for a toss.
Javid Ahmad, a local said that the education of the children has got badly affected due the pesky power cuts.
The locals urged the authorities to ensure adequate electricity so that they could heave a sigh of relief.
