Srinagar, Nov 7: A mentally-challenged man from Srinagar was found dead in Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
An official said that some passersby spotted a body lying in Kadlabal area of Pampore and informed the police.
He said that soon after getting the information, a police party rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
He added that the body was later shifted to SDH Pampore and later identified as Mohammad Sultan Kumar son of Ali Mohammad Kumar resident of Akalmir Khanyar Srinagar, who was missing for the last two days.
Meanwhile, Police have taken its cognizance and started investigation.
