Sagar seeks arrangements on Urs of Hazrat Syed Yaqoob Sahib (RA)

Srinagar, Nov 8: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Tuesday sought effective arrangements on the annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Yaqoob Sahib ( RA) , Sonwar.
In a statement released from party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, the party general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar asked the district administration Srinagar to ensure all effective facilities and basic amenities for the devotees on the eve of Urs observance.
Sagar asked the district administration and shrine management to work in synergy to ensure the smooth observance of the annual Urs.
Meanwhile, Provincial Vice President and incharge Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi has also impressed upon the concerned departments to make sure availability of uninter­rupted drinking water and power supplies, adequate transport and parking facilities, cleanliness and first aid arrangements in and around the shrine.
