Ganderbal, Nov 8: After remaining suspended for a day, the authorities on Tuesday restored the traffic movement on Srinagar-Leh highway.
The highway was closed for vehicular movement on Sunday after fresh snowfall at Zoji La.
J&K Traffic police on its official Twitter handle, informed that one way traffic has been restored on the road after clearance of snow.
“Traffic plying on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. After clearance of snow from the road traffic has been released from Minimarg towards sonamarg however Mughal road still closed,” police tweeted.
Furthermore, an official said that subject to fair weather and good road condition, the vehicular movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road shall be allowed from both sides viz Srinagar towards Kargil and vice-versa tomorrow.
