Kulgam, Nov 10: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Thursday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review overall power scenario and the status of ongoing developmental works being carried out by the KPDCL in the district.
During the meeting, the DC enquired about the availability, demand and position of power supply in the district and also took a comprehensive review of the work on other vital projects spearheaded by the various wings of KPDCL under various schemes.
While reviewing progress made in augmentation of 33KV Kulgam D.H.Pora line the concerned informed the chair that work is going on in full swing.
The DC instructed the concerned to ensure in-time completion of augmentation of this line. He also impressed upon the officers to follow the curtailment schedule during winters and to make the system vibrant to avoid unscheduled power cuts.
Dr Bilal also reviewed the winter action plan of the department and instructed the officers to intensify the enforcement drives against crude devices.
SE KPDCL Bijbehara, Executive Engineers from KPDCL Kulgam, STD, Bijbehara and Project Division Anantnag-Kulgam, Project Manager PGCIL and AEE besides other officers also attended the meeting.
