Bandipora Nov 14: In order to review the healthcare scenario of the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Monday chaired a meeting of officers at Mini Secretariat, here.
The DC on the occasion took stock of available facilities, staff strength, in position doctors, paramedical staff etc in all the three Subdivisions of the district.
He also reviewed infrastructure facilities available in DH Bandipora, CHCs, PHCs, and other health care Institutions in rural areas.
Dr. Owais urged health functionaries to come up to the expectations of the patients and focus on providing best services and make accessible, affordable health care in the district available for the patients.
He also directed for providing 24/7 Gynecological facilities in DH Bandipora besides stressing upon punctual duties of doctors and paramedics and directed for strict adherence to duty roasters.
The meeting was attended by DPO Bandipora, Mohd Ashraf Hakak, ADC Bandipora Waseem Raja, CMO Bandipora, BMO Bandipora, MS District Hospital Bandipora and other concerned.
