Wildlife employee among four injured in bear attack in Tral

Pulwama, Nov 16: Four persons including a wildlife employee were injured after being attacked by a bear in Chattrogam area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
An official said that wildlife employee and three other local residents were injured after they were attacked by a bear in Chattrogam.
He said that all the injured were given first aid at Health and Wellness Centre Chattogram and were referred to SDH Tral for further treatment.
He identified the injured as Mohammad Amin Bhat, a resident of Khangund, a casual employee of the wildlife department, Dileer Singh, Kaljeet Singh and Kamaljeet.
Locals said that presence of wild animal in Tral areas of South Kashmir have created panic masses while appealing authorities to capture the wild animals immediately.
They further added that wildlife teams are on job in the area but they are yet to get success in capturing the wild animals roaming in these areas.
People have appealed authorities to capture the wild animals roaming in the area so that local can heave a sigh of relief.
