Anantnag, Dec 1: Established six decades ago, a government School in Anantnag’s Khiram village is lacking proper infrastructure.
The Primary School set up in 1965 was upgraded to middle school in 2003.
Eighty students are admitted in the school in absence of proper infrastructure such as classrooms.
Several parents complained that the existing building is unsafe and the school must be shifted to some safe structure.
Several parents said that they would have dropped out their wards from the school but they are financially weak to bear monthly fee at private schools.
Locals said that they brought the issue into the notice of higher ups several times to no avail.
