Kupwara, Dec 6: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray Tuesday convened a meeting of all concerned officers to review arrangements for smooth conduct of Winter Carnival-2022 in Kupwara.
The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding the successful conduct of the Winter Carnival across the district which shall be held during the ending week of this month.
The DC asked the concerned officers and entrepreneurs for holding a preparatory tour for identification of feasible locations for conducting the Winter Carnival activities.
On the occasion, the DC interacted with different entrepreneurs for offering ETV, SnowMobile and Ice Skating facilities in various identified locations including Bangus valley during the week of Winter Carnival. He asked them to provide an adequate number of snowmobiles and ice skating machines so that maximum visitors can take benefit of the recreation facilities.
