Srinagar, Dec 13: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a militant associate in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police spokesman in a statement said that Police in Pulwama along with Army (55RR) and CRPF (182/183 BN) at a joint checkpoint established at Bandzoo Crossing arrested one active militant associate of Al-Badr and recovered incriminating materials, arms and ammunition including a pistol from his possession.
He has been identified as Yawar Bashir Dar son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Arigam Pulwama.
In this regard, police said that a case under FIR number 358/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Pulwama and further investigation is in progress.
