Jammu, Dec 31: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has greeted the people on the eve of the New Year 2023.
In a message, the Lt Governor said: “My warmest greetings and good wishes to all on the joyous occasion of New Year.
It is an occasion to reflect upon the year gone by and to renew our resolve to strive for inclusive development and to maintain the impetus towards higher economic growth, social development and overall progress of the society in the year ahead”.
“We are determined to redouble our efforts for rapid growth, economic security & prosperity to meet the aspirations of the people. Let us work together to take J&K UT to new heights of achievement. May the year 2023 bring prosperity, good health and happiness to all”, said the Lt Governor.
Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar has extended his greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of the joyous occasion of New Year.
In his new year message, Advisor Bhatnagar said that New Year is an opportunity for whole of J&K to make a fresh beginning and renew our resolve to strive for individual as well as collective growth which the UT is witnessing from last few years.
“New Year is a time for all of us to reflect on the passing year and commit oneself to strive for the creation of a society with social good and economic wealth”, Advisor Bhatnagar said.
The Advisor also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of entire Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, On the eve of the New Year, Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta has greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his message, Dr Mehta wished the people of Jammu and Kashmir a bright and happy New Year and prayed that 2023 would usher in peace and happiness for all and see progress, prosperity and well-being of all sections of society.
He also hoped the new year to be a year of development, harmony, social integration and better health for all the people of the UT. He wished them a successful year ahead.
