Baramulla, Jan 7: At least two families were rendered homeless after a massive fire gutted two residential houses at Jalal Sahib Mohalla area of Old town Baramulla in north Kashmir on Saturday.
Reports said that at least two residential houses were damaged after a massive fire engulfed a house in the Old town area of Baramulla this morning.
The fire reportedly broke out due to leakage in an LPG cylinder and quickly spread to other nearby residential house.
Police and firefighters reached the spot and doused the flames with the help of locals.
There was no loss of life in the incident, however, two houses were gutted completely and property worth lakhs of rupees got damaged, rendering the families homeless.
The affected house owners have been identified as Abdul Majeed Bhat and Abdul Qayoom Bhat. (KNO)
