Make adequate heating arrangements

In a first of its kind, the students across Kashmir will be appearing in the board examinations as the government last year announced that all the examinations from now onwards will be conducted in March. The decision was taken with regard to the uniform academic calendar. Therefore, the government has announced the date sheets for Class 10th, 11th and 12th. The examinations are set to begin from March 06, 2023. The students have got enough time to prepare themselves for the board examinations and this time as unlike previous years, the students have got three more months to study properly and appear in the examination, indicating a tough competition among the students this year. However, as the weather usually remains erratic during the month of March, the administration, especially the concerned department needs to gear up and ensure that all the arrangements in this regard are made well on time so that the students, who are set to appear in the examinations, are not forced to face hardships in the examination halls. The department should make adequate heating arrangements in the examination halls, especially in the far-flung areas where the temperature remains below normal in the month of March as well. In the far-off places, there is a need to clear the snow on the roads well on time, so that the students will not face hardships to reach the examination halls. Moreover, the administration should come up with a formal order in this regard for the wellbeing of the students.
