Jammu, Feb 15: Army’s White Knight Corps on Wednesday held a high-level security review meeting at Nagrota in Jammu in which the officers from different security forces and agencies participated.
In an official statement, Defense spokesman said that the security review meeting was conducted in order to review and coordinate security aspects amongst agencies.
Major General JS Bindra, Chief of Staff and senior officers from Army and Law Enforcement Agencies including police and intelligence agencies attended this meet.
Official sources said that a threadbare discussion on security issues was held in this meeting with prime focus on hinterland security and fool proof coordination between different forces looking after hinterland security.
Pertinent to mention here that security apparatus in entire Jammu province is on high alert especially after January 1 Dhangri attack and IED explosions in Jammu’s Narwal and recovery of explosives in parts of Rajouri. (KNO)
