Kulgam, Feb 24: In a hit-and-run case a minor girl was killed in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, official sources said.
They said an unknown vehicle hit a 5-year-old girl in Damhal Hanjipora of Kulgam. The vehicle fled away from the spot after knocking down the girl. The minor girl was shifted to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Hospital sources identified the victim as Zehra Younis, a resident of DK Marg area of Kulgam.
A police official said that a case has been registered in this regard and an investigation taken up. [KNT]
