The introduction of Jammu and Kashmir Integrated Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (JK-IGRAMS) in the Union Territory has paved the way for the speedy redressal of the genuine grievances of the people. The people of J&K were being forced to get their works done in the respective areas, but the situation has changed as the governance is now at the doorsteps of the common man as whatever hardships people are facing, they get it redressed in a shortest possible time and also in an easiest way. During the tenure of past governments, it was too hectic to reach out to the administration at top level with their genuine grievances, but what has changed now is the introduction of JK-IGRAMS through which the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha is personally intervening into the matter of common people and ensure that their work is completed at the shortest possible time. Such a way to bring smiles and respite to the common people of Jammu & Kashmir is being appreciated by one and all, but such a mechanism should be ensured at the district level as well, which is the need of the hour as the people would get more options to get their grievances done on a regular basis. The government needs to ensure such a mechanism in every department as well to ensure that the people are not forced to face hardships in any manner and are assisted by the top rank in whatever way possible.
