DC Baramulla chairs Revenue Officers meet; reviews services delivery

Baramulla, Mar 3: To review the functioning of Revenue Department and land acquisition processes of Srinagar -Baramulla-Uri National Highway H-1 project, progress made in adopting of online services, and other revenue related matters, a meeting of all Revenue Officers of the District was Friday held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar at DC Office here.
At the outset, the DC took a detailed review of online services, schemes and revenue related matters and status of Grievances redressal mechanism, status of pending Court cases through RCCMS, implementation of e-Office, etc.
While reviewing the progress of the Srinagar – Baramulla – Uri National Highway project, the DC asserted that the project is of strategic importance and stressed for its timely completion. She directed that land acquisition processes for construction and widening of the highway project be expedited.
With regard to online services, the DC directed all the concerned officers to adopt online services in their respective offices so that it becomes easy for the people to get information in a digital form.
Pertinently, all the government offices are in a transition into e-offices to usher in more effective and transparent services delivery.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad, Sub Divisional Magistrates of Pattan and Uri, all Tehsildars besides officials of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
