Kupwara, Mar 8: The Director Accounts and Treasuries (A&T) Kashmir, Abdul Hameed Kumar Wednesday visited Kupwara district and took annual review of the functioning of treasuries in the district at TRC Kupwara.
The Director took a detailed review of all the works of the treasuries across the district and got feedback about the status of different works.
The meeting held threadbare discussion on various issues including Audit Paras of various departments and KYC updation of NPS employees.
The Director Accounts stressed upon the officers to ensure clearing of all pending Audit Paras from the Accountant General office as early as possible.
He further directed them to clear all the pendencies regarding KYC updation of NPS employees.
On the occasion, the District Treasury Officer Kupwara briefed the Director about the internal structure of finance in the district. He further informed that the district has a total of 8 treasuries out of which construction work is in progress on 3 treasuries including Ramhall, Langate and Kralpora.
The Director appreciated the officers for doing good work on the ground.
District Treasury Officer Kupwara, Mohammad Shafi Wani; Treasury Officers of various Tehsil Treasuries and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
