Srinagar, Mar 9: Member of Parliament and National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah has convened an all-party meeting on March 11 to discuss several pressing issues confronting the Union Territory, sources said here on Thursday.
Sources said that the meeting will be presided over by Dr Farooq Abdullah in Jammu at around 3 pm on March 11.
He said that the meeting has been convened to discuss several issues including imposition of property tax, awarding of contract by JKSSB to APTECH to conduct computer based exams and prevailing situation in J&K.
Meanwhile, while confirming the development a senior politician said that Dr Farooq Abdullah has sent invitation to all regional parties in this regard.
He said it is expected that all parties will participate in the meeting and deliberate on these pressing issues confronting Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
