The social media platforms are flooded with praise to the doctors and staff of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara, who didn’t look for the safety when a major earthquake jolted Jammu & Kashmir Tuesday evening, but remained intact with the surgery of a patient to ensure the patient’s safety. It has been for the first time that such an event was recorded and surfaced on the social media platforms where the people from different parts of the country have praised the doctors and staff for performing their job with dedication. The staff as well as the doctors got appreciation from every nook and corner of the country including the higher officials from the Health department as well. The video got viral in such a way that the department has decided to felicitate them for doing a commendable job. There are many such events that have not caught the eyes of people, but have become an example for society. However, such a dedication should wake up the consciousness of the government employees, who could help the people in different ways, but remain either absent from their duties or push people to the wall for one reason or the other. There is a need to learn from the doctors and the staff as such dedication is always imperative to ensure a better society and the developed nation. Performing their job honestly deserves appreciation and the government should felicitate the doctors and the staff with the best award.
