Rising Cyber threats in J&K

The developmental projects are in full swing in the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar’s commercial Hub Lal Chowk and adjacent areas, which according to the government will be completed by the end of April. However, the ongoing works have led to the frequent traffic congestion, causing huge inconvenience to the commuters, but the administration has sought apology from the people with regard to the hardships, saying that such a situation is time being but the works are being carried out to develop the city and also beautify it. It has been observed that the work is going on at a pace, but one needs to understand that in case the works are not completed on time, the people will have to face tremendous hardships during the Eid shopping, which would likely be celebrated on April 22 this year. Ahead of the Eid, the markets, especially the commercial hub Lal Chowk witness a massive rush of the shoppers, who buy clothes, food stuff and other essentials for the holy Muslim festival. As the frequent traffic congestion is being witnessed in and around Lal Chowk, there is every possibility of further increase in the flow of vehicles ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr, which would certainly add further chaos to the situation amid the ongoing works. The administration should direct the concerned to pace up the work further and ensure that all the works are completed ahead of Eid, so that the people would heave a sigh of relief during shopping.
