Kulgam, May 24: The roofless ticket counter at District Hospital Kulgam has become a source of great inconvenience for attendants, especially ladies.
During erratic weather especially when it rains, women can be seen in queues without any cover outside the ticket counter.
Parts of Kashmir Valley including Kulgam district witnessed intermittent rains today and amid this rainfall, attendants were seen drenched outside the hospital ticket counter.
Attendants appealed to the hospital administration to erect a roof outside the ticket counter so that they can get a breather from both rain and scorching heat.
Chief Medical Officer Kulgam Dr Rafiq Ahmed admitted that the roofless ticket counter creates problems for the attendants and patients. He said a new ticket counter with a cover will be constructed for the visitors shortly. [KNT]
