It has become too hectic for the people to visit the hospitals for checkups as the ever-lasting queues have resulted in a massive hardships among the masses and thus simultaneously, forcing them to leave the hospitals without getting treated. It has been witnessed that the people have to remain in the queues for a long time to get just an Out-Patient Department (OPD) ticket for the treatment, leaving the people to lurch at large. The people visiting the hospitals several times have put forth their demand about increasing the OPD ticket counters at the hospitals. However, the government has come up with an unique initiative of Scan and Share facility, but unfortunately the impressive facility has not brought any relief to the people as it has been observed that the hospital authorities are not making people aware about the scan and share facility, which would not only reduce the burden and rush of the people at the OPD ticket counters, but would also bring respite to the people as well as help in ensuring queue-less OPD registration. The time has changed as the government has taken adequate measures with the help of online facilities to bring ease to the people, but what needs to be done is creating awareness among the masses in this regard. Therefore, the hospital administrations should also move ahead with the fruitful facility to the people by ensuring complete implementation of the services so that the culture of staying in the queues would come to an immediate end and the people could heave a sigh of relief.
